Various Shooting Functions

If the camera fails to focus automatically, you can focus manually
(MF: Manual Focus).
Manual focus enables shooting at a fixed distance.

In scene mode, manual focus can be used when [Zoom Macro] or [Skew Correct
Mode] is selected.
You can also use manual focus to focus on objects within the macro shooting range.
Assigning the Fn1/Fn2 button to [AF/MF] (G P.195) allows you to switch between
auto focus and manual focus by pressing the Fn1/Fn2 button (GP.77).

Press the " button to select [Focus] and press the $
button.

Press the !" buttons to select
[MF].

Press the MENU/OK button.
[MF] and the focus bar appear on the
screen.
The distance indicated on the focus
bar is for reference only.
