The new master roll must be
positioned as shown in the illus-
tration.
Insert the paper edge of the
master roll under the arrow
mark (1) until you can see the
leading edge under the trans-
parent cover.
Return the pressure release
lever to its original position (2).

Rotate the spools backward to take

up any slack in the master.
Press the master cut button to
cut the leading edge of the

master roll.
ACaution: When the master cut but-
ton is pressed, the mas-
ter roll will rotate. Do not
touch the
master roll.

After the beeper sounds, open
the transparent cover and re-
move the cut-off portion of the
master roil.
Remove the cut-off master com-
pletely to prevent master misfeed.
