After changing the staple car-
tridge, make sure that you can
staple documents using the by-
pass feed stapling (* see page
89). When you cannot staple

Reset the staple cartridge. Then,
retry stapling.
If the stapler unit does not work
properly, a staple misfeed may
occur. Remove misfed staples.
