Open Adjustment Settings for Operators as follows:
1. Press [Adjustment Settings for Operators] on the Home screen.
The Adjustment Settings for Operators window opens.
Image Density
If you select [Image Density], image density adjustment (process control) is executed. Execute this before
calibration or when the density of the entire printed image is unstable.
The machine automatically executes image density adjustment if the machine has been idle for a certain
time or if a certain number of sheets have been printed. Select [Image Density] if the printed image is
unstable.
1. Press [02: Machine: Image Quality] 0201: [Adjust Image Density/DEMS].

2. Press [Image Density Adjustment: Manual Execute] [OK].
Image density adjustment takes approximately 30 seconds. Do not open the paper tray or other
parts during adjustment.
