Adjusting "Finisher" and "Fold"
Finisher and fold unit functions can be adjusted in [Adjustment Settings for Operators]. For
details, see [6. Adjustment Settings for Operators] in Operator's Guide.
Adjusting finisher
To adjust finisher functions, select [06 Finishing: Finisher] on the [Adjustment Settings for Op-
erators] screen. On the [06 Finishing: Finisher] screen, it is possible to adjust positions of sta-
ples and punches for 12 types of functions including the below.
0601: Staple Position:
Across Feed 1
Adjust the vertical position of the staple
(applied at an edge).
0602: Staple Position:
Across Feed 2
Adjust the vertical position of the staples
(dual).
0603: Staple Position:
With Feed
Adjust the horizontal position of the sta-
ples.
0604: Paper Align-
ment for Stapling:
Across Feed
Adjust the width of the Staple Jogger (A
guide for aligning output sheets) when
using the staple function.
0619 Folding Position
for Booklet
Adjust the horizontal position of the fold-
ing.
Adjusting fold
To adjust fold unit functions, select [07 Finishing: Fold] on the [Adjustment Settings for Opera-
tors] screen. On the [07 Finishing: Fold] screen, it is possible to adjust fold positions of 17 types
including the below.
0701 Z-fold Position 1 Adjust the fold position of the end seg-
ment (S) when using the fold unit.
