8.3 Bridge rope / rail
Take off wires on 37 / 38 at the main
controller (installation side)
Unplug rope / rail connection in the
carriage
Take a long wire (2 cores – 0.75mm
2
)
and connect the controller (37/38) directly
with the rope / rail.
Do not mix up 37 / 38 !!
The rail / rope connection is now bridged.
If the stairlift is running now:
There must be a fault on the isolating parts of the rope connection to the
carriage.
Too much grease within the tubes
Oxidation of rivet plates (current pick up within tube)
Rosty inner side of tube
Refer to the service manual 3.1 / 3.4 as well as to the installation manual part 5
9 Final remark
All control components have now been checked.
If ever the problem is not solved, check.
Manipulation fault
Correct indication of the controller (e.g. Carriage travels into floor. …..)
At last, you might exchange the main PCB and / or the carriage PCB
!
