This newly cered vent system is comprised of PVC/CPVC pipes, ngs and either the IPEX System Low Prole Terminaon
Kit Assembly (System 636), snorkel terminaon, or tee terminaon.
Installaons must comply with local requirements and with the Naonal Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54 for U.S.
installaons or CSA B149.1 for Canadian installaons. use cellular core PVC, CPVC, or Radel based pipe materials
for the exhaust vent. Vents be of solid core pipes ONLY.
Use only the materials listed in this secon for vent, air intake pipe, and ngs (See vent and air piping materials table).
Failure to comply with this warning could result in property damage, personal injury, or death.
PVC venng cannot be used if the following condions exist:
The water heater is installed in a recirculaon system and the thermostat seng is greater than 150 F (65.5 C).
The water heater is used in a combinaon domesc water and space heang applicaon that requires a thermostat
seng greater than 150 F (65.5 C).
