Installaon of PVC/CPVC Vent and Intake Air Piping:
Note the correct posion of the combuson air inlet and gas ue outlet, as these are interchangeable. For
the correct posion and design of the twin pipe gas ue outlet and combuson air inlet refer to the installaon
instrucons in this manual.
The RUC series units do not require addional parts to be used with standard 3” 3rd party solid core PVC/CPVC
pipes; refer to gure below for required parts for 3” PVC/CPVC assembly conguraon.
Conversely, the RUC series units require 2 addional (4”x 3” Flush – Schedule 40 PVC) bushing to be used with
4” PVC/CPVC assembly conguraon (refer to gure below).
Failure to correctly assemble the components according to these instrucons may result in property damage,
personal injury, or death.
