Attention!
The settings in the Service menu described here must only be made by trained specialists as
they the function and limit values of the feeders. The supplier of the machine can decide
whether to pass on this information or reserve it for supplier’s service personnel.
This menu cannot be accessed directly in the normal menu structure, but has to be enabled via an addi-
tional key code.
The critical parameter 'output current limit' and 'vibrating amplitude range' are included in an extended Ser-
vice menu. This menu cannot be accessed directly in the normal menu structure, but has to be enabled via
an additional code number. This is to prevent unwanted changes to these critical parameters.
Current limit - Protection of the magnets against overload.
The output current limit defines the maximum permitted current for the magnets installed.
Frequency limits - Protection against system off-resonance setting.
The vibrating frequency range determines the adjustable frequency range for the user.
Output voltage limit 100 V
The output voltage limitation to operate magnets rated for 110 V on a 230 V mains supply.

The controller covers a maximum frequency range of 5...300 Hz. By an adjustable lower and upper fre-
quency limit, the effective frequency range for the user (parameter ‘F’) can be set to a range of max. 1.4.
Especially in the controller mode this effective frequency range is of great importance because the meas-
ured value of the acceleration sensor is safely detected. In automatic frequency search a frequency-re-
sponse ratio of 1:4 is possible. The range is limited by the frequency limits ‘F.L.’ (lower frequency limit) and
F.H. (upper frequency limit). A narrower setting of the limits than 1:4 is possible and also makes sense as it
ensures that the user setting does not deviate too much from the system frequency.
The range of the automatic frequency correction ‘AFC’ is hereby limited as well.
A limitation to +/- 20 % of the resonance frequency is a sensible setting.
1. Step: Set lower limit.
2. Step: Set upper limit.
