10-3-3 CHECK VALVE AND FLOATING SWITCH Lt
(1) Check valve
This valve is composed of a ball and body
seat.
The ball is stabilized by a spring. The ball
overrides the spring at time the pressure ex-
ceeds its setting load. When engine stops, this
prevents air from entering into oil tube due to
vacuum.
Also this prevents oil from leaking when long
storage.
(2) Floating switch
This floating switch is located in the oil tank.
