PREPARATION
for
LONG STORAGE
Perform the above 15-1 and 15-2 maintenance
jobs.
Drain fuel from the fuel tank and carburetor float chamber.
To
prevent rust in the cylinder bore, apply
oil
through the spark plug hole and turn the crankshaft several
turns by hand. Reinstall the plug.
Turn the starting pulley by hand and leave
it
where the resistance
is
the heaviest.
Clean the engine outside with oiled cloth.
Put
a
vinyl or other cover over the engine and store the engine
in
dry place.
