• Launch a FactoryTalk View Machine Edition HMI application.
• Launch FactoryTalk View ME Station in Configuration mode
(default).
• Launch the Windows desktop. (This functionality is available on
series A terminals only. Series B terminals (Series C for Stainless Steel
terminals) launch the Control Panel).

access, see Configure Start-up Options
on page 84.
TIP Terminals are initially shipped with desktop access disabled. You can also
configure the terminal to allow desktop access.
