Creating a Song
Saving the Song You Recorded
The song you created is temporarily held in a location called “internal memory,” but all data in
internal memory is lost when you turn off the power. If you want to keep your song, you must
save it in the Fantom-S’s user memory.
1.
Press [SAVE/LOAD].
The Save/Load Menu screen will appear.

Press [2 (Save Song)].
The Song File Name screen will appear.

Assigning a file name (up to 8 characters). Turn the VALUE dial or press [INC]/
[DEC] to select the character that you want to input.
To change the type of character, press [1 (Change Type)]. The type will alternate each time you
press this.
To insert a space at the cursor location, press [3 (Insert)].
To delete the character at the cursor location, press [2 (Delete)].
Press or to move the corsor (the location at which to enter / edit a character).
Samples you record will be held in sample memory, but the data in sample memory will be lost
when you turn off the power. If you want to save the samples as well, choose [1 (S+S)].
