What to do if my Roland GO:PIANO won’t respond to my voice?
    • C
      christopher10Jul 28, 2025
If the Amazon Alexa indicator is red or the unit is running on batteries, press the mute button to un-mute the mic. If the unit isn't connected to a wireless network, turn the power off and on again, and configure the wireless network settings. If operating on batteries, connect the AC adapter and restart the device. Also, wait until the Amazon Alexa indicator is off after powering on, as it's connecting to the network.

Why is my Roland Musical Instrument voice poorly recognized?
    • J
      James HillAug 2, 2025
If you are in a noisy place, try moving closer to the microphone or relocating to a quieter area. If the wireless network signal is weak, move your wireless LAN router closer to the unit or eliminate any sources of electromagnetic interference, such as microwave ovens. Make sure you are using the correct wake word: “Alexa,” “Amazon,” and “Computer” are recognized. You can change the wake word in the GO:PIANO Alexa Setup app.

      Megan SmithAug 7, 2025
To operate the GO:PIANO with your voice, make sure to include “ask GO:PIANO” in your request. Also, ensure you are signed in to both your Amazon and Roland accounts. Use the Amazon Alexa app to sign into your Amazon account and the GO:PIANO Alexa Setup app to sign into your Roland account. Finally, enable the skill in the Amazon Alexa app.

What to do if my Roland GO:PIANO doesn't appear in the Bluetooth device list?
    • Y
      Yolanda WalkerAug 12, 2025
First, check if the Bluetooth function is turned “Off.” If it is, turn the Bluetooth function “On.” When the Bluetooth Audio function is on, a device named “GO:PIANO Audio” should appear. For the Bluetooth MIDI function, a device named “GO:PIANO MIDI” should appear. You can verify this in the settings of an app like Piano Partner 2.

Why does my Roland Musical Instrument power turn on unexpectedly?
    • P
      patrick72Aug 16, 2025
Unexpected power-ups may occur if the AC adaptor is connected incorrectly. If you're using batteries, disconnect the AC adaptor from the unit. When batteries are installed and the AC adaptor is connected, the AC adaptor will be used preferentially; the power will not turn on unless the AC adapter is connected to a power outlet.

What to do if I can't connect to Bluetooth audio on my Roland GO:PIANO?
    • R
      Ricardo BellAug 21, 2025
If the Roland unit is visible as a device in your mobile device’s Bluetooth settings, delete the device’s registration, turn the Bluetooth Audio function “Off” and then “On” again, and re-establish pairing. If the unit is not visible as a device, turn the mobile device’s Bluetooth function off and then on again, and initiate pairing from the Roland unit to re-establish pairing.
