Power turns o on its own
Could the auto-o setting be
something other than “O”?
If you don’t need the power to turn o automatically,
turn the Auto O setting “O.

Power does not turn on
Is the AC adaptor connected correctly?
Could the batteries be exhausted? Install fresh batteries. p. 4
If you connect the AC adaptor and turn on the power when batteries are installed, the AC
adaptor will be used preferentially. Even if batteries are installed, the power will not turn on
unless the AC adaptor is connected to an AC outlet.
If you’re using batteries, disconnect the AC adaptor from this unit. If batteries are installed,
connecting or disconnecting the power cord from the outlet or connecting or disconnecting
the DC plug of the AC adaptor while this unit is turned on will cause the power to turn o.
Nothing is shown in the display Could the screen o function be set?
If you want the display to remain on, disable (turn o )
the screen o function.
Pedal does not work, or is stuck” Is the pedal connected correctly? p. 4
The volume level of the unit

Could the volume of the connected device be turned down?

Won’t respond to your voice
Could the Amazon Alexa indicator be
lit red?

The unit is not connected to a wireless network.
Turn the power o and on again, and make wireless
network settings.

Could the unit be operating on
batteries?
If the unit is operating on batteries, it cannot use a
wireless network. Connect the AC adaptor, and turn
the power o and on again.

Could the Amazon Alexa indicator be
lit light blue?
Immediately after this unit is powered-on, it will be in
the process of connecting to the network, so Amazon
Alexa will not respond. Wait until the Amazon Alexa
indicator is unlit.
Your voice is poorly recognized
Could you be in a noisy location?
Try getting closer to the mic when you speak, or try in
a less noisy location.
Is the wireless network strong enough?
Move your wireless LAN router closer to this unit, or
remove the source of electromagnetic interference.
Could there be a microwave oven or
other device nearby that might cause
electromagnetic interference?
Is the wake word (request) correct?
Alexa,” “Amazon, and “Computer are recognized
as wake words. In the GO:PIANO Alexa Setup app,
change the wake word to an appropriate choice.
Can’t operate by GO:PIANO by
requests
Are you including ask GO:PIANO” in
your request?
When you include ask GO:PIANO in your request,
Amazon Alexa operates GO:PIANO.

Are you signed in to your Amazon
account and your Roland account?
In order to operate the GO:PIANO with your voice, you
must sign into both your Amazon account and your
Roland account.
Use the Amazon Alexa app to sign into your Amazon
account, and use the “GO:PIANO Alexa Setup app to
sign into your Roland account.
