If Colors Are Still Uneven
If uneven color issues are not resolved even after shaking the pouch trays, perform super cleaning.
P. 97 "Super Cleaning"
Addition
Damper Cleaning
If uneven color issues are not resolved even after shaking the pouch trays, perform "damper clean-
ing." Uneven colors refers to the symptom of printed colors being uneven (such as the color density
being inconsistent) even when the same data is printed with the same settings.
Damper cleaning can be used to stabilize the printed colors by agitating the ink.
IMPORTANT
Damper cleaning consumes a lot of ink, and overly frequent use may damage the print
heads themselves. Avoid using this cleaning method more than necessary.
Whenever possible, perform damper cleaning with ink pouches that have a large amount
of remaining ink. If the ink runs out during cleaning, cleaning will stop. In this situation,
"CLEANING ERROR" will be displayed on the screen. When a cleaning error occurs, the
damper cleaning will start over again from the beginning.
