Select the group of print heads to clean.
Use the table shown below to check the group that contains the color for which uneven
colors are occurring. If you cannot determine which color is the problem, perform cleaning
with both group A and group B as the target.

1 Press [ ] or [ ] to select the group of print heads that is not to be cleaned.

2 Press [ ] or [ ] to get rid of the group display.

3 Repeat steps 1 and 2 to display only the group of print heads that re-
quires cleaning.
Only the displayed groups will be cleaned. If A and B are displayed, they will both be
cleaned.

Press [ENTER].
The screen shown in the following gure appears, and then cleaning starts. The (approx-
imate) remaining time for the procedure is displayed on the screen. (The display shown
below is an example. "01:45" = "1 minute and 45 seconds")
