■ Specifying the audio input/output device

Click the Windows [Start] button. From the menu that appears, select
Settings, and then select Control Panel. In Control Panel, double-click the
Multimedia icon to open the Multimedia Properties dialog box.

Click the Audio tab.

For the Playback item Preferred device, click . In the list that appears,
click “USB Audio Device (1)” to select it.

For the Recording item Preferred device, click . In the list that appears,
click “USB Audio Device (1)” to select it.

Click [OK] to complete the settings.
Depending on your
system, USB audio
devices (1) may not have a
number, or may be other
than 1.
It will not be possible to
press the "Advanced
Properties" button for
"Recording."
