single central camshaft hydraulic tappets - push rods - OHV

Dry sump forced lubrication
Dual ignition of breakerless, capacitor discharge design
2 constant depression carburetors
Mechanical fuel pump
Electric starter (12 V 0.7 kW), 912 S/ULS (12 V 0.9 kW)
Integrated AC generator with external rectifier regulator
Propeller drive via integrated gearbox with mechanical shock
absorber and overload clutch
NOTE
The overload clutch is installed on all serial production aircraft
engines which are certified and non-certified aircraft engines of
the configuration 3.

Electric starter (12 V 0.9 kW)
External alternator (12 V 40 A DC)
Vacuum pump drive
Hydraulic constant speed propeller governor drive
1.6.1) Auxiliary equipment (optional)
Any equipment not included as part of the standard engine ver-
sion and thus not a fix component of the engine is not in the vol-
ume of supply.
Components especially developed and tested for this engine
are readily available at BRP-Rotax.
