on the discharge nozzle is slowly raised in order to tilt the pump towards a vertical stance like the
figure shown below:

Once the pump is in a vertical stance, the rope or sling attached around the middle of the bowl
assembly may be released and the rest of the transportation can be carried out using only the crane
whose ropes or slings are attached to the lifting lugs on the discharge nozzle.
4.3.2 One Crane Method
If only one crane is available for lifting, ropes or slings must be attached to the lifting lugs on the
discharge nozzle and then to the crane, as shown below:
