The drained oil is hot, and can cause severe burns.
The oil change should be carried out as follows:
1. Switch the drive motor off.
2. Open the drain valve and drain the oil out.
3. Clean the oil tank with a suitable cleaning liquid. Flushing the oil tank with clean
lightweight oil is possible (e.g. ATF).
4. Close the drain valve.
5. Fill the oil tank with suitable oil.
6.1.3 Grease Lubricated Bushings
When the fluid being pumped is not deemed sufficient to correctly lubricate a VLT pump, the
bushings can be lubricated using grease. Grease lubricated bushings require grease to be directly
injected to them for proper lubrication. A grease tubing running parallel to the column tube(s) deliver
grease directly to the bushings thru connections passing thru the column tube(s). A grease pump is
used to inject grease.

NOTE: A connection to the grease tubing must be included for every bushing the pump is equipped
