10 Start up
Pump
Pumps are tested in our workshops with lubricant.
Prior to start-up, this lubricant must be removed by flushing with a
suitable solvent.
At the end of the day, flush with a suitable solvent.
It is advisable to stop the fluid section in the "low inversion" position in
order to prevent the product from catching on the piston rod.
Motor
Motors are tested before shipping.
Nevertheless, before coupling the motor to a pump, it is necessary to
operate it under vacuum at a maximum pressure of 1 bar / 14.5 psi for
a few minutes.
Proceed as follows:
Couple the motor with the fluid section,
Connect the main air supply to the motor.
Adjust the pressure at the air regulator.
