Fire, explosion, arc, electricity
The laws and regulations in force regarding safety, fire and electricity
in the country where the equipment is used must be respected.
The gun must be used in areas for which it has been validated. Refer to
the ATEX section of the document.
Grounding
In general, in order to prevent the accumulation of
electrostatic charges, which could generate an electric arc in a
flammable and explosive environment, it is necessary that all the
elements making up the system be grounded.
The gun must be "grounded" through the air or fluid hose.
The materials to be painted must also be "grounded" by means of
clamps with cables or, if they are suspended, by means of hooks which
must be kept clean at all times.
Always follow decompression and purge procedures when cleaning,
checking, maintaining equipment or cleaning gun nozzles.
This gun is a precision tool. Its proper operation requires frequent and
careful maintenance.
If it is done immediately after the job, cleaning is easier and faster.
Never use wire brushes, files or pliers for disassembly.
Before cleaning or disassembling any component of the equipment, it
is imperative that:
- Decompress the hoses by pulling the trigger.
- Do not store more flammable products than necessary inside
the work area.
