7 Operation
7.1 Three-step mode
In three-step mode, the actuator stem is
moved in the corresponding direction by ap-
plying a signal to the terminal eL or aL (see
Fig.7-1).
A constant supply voltage must also be ap-
plied to the actuator to allow it to operate
(see the 'Installation' section).

7.2 Manual override
Thehandwheel(1inFig.7-2)isusedfor
manual override. Turn the handwheel clock-
wise to move the actuator in 'aL' direction
and counterclockwise to move it in the 'eL'
direction(seeFig.7-1).
Î Unfold and lock the fold-away handle
(2) in place.

Manual override is only possible in actuators
with fail-safe action when the supply voltage
(terminals L and N) is connected.
