8.2.1 Automatic (AUTO) and
manual (MAN) modes
After initialization has been completed suc

cessfully, the positioner is in automatic mode
(AUTO).
Automatic mode
Switching to manual mode (MAN)

MAN
Press to switchover to manual mode. The
switchover is smooth since the manual mode
starts up with the set point last used during
automatic mode. The current position is dis

played in %.
Adjust the manual reference variable
Turn

Code 1
Press , Code
1 blinks.
Turn until sufficient pressure has been
built up in the positioner and the control
valve moves to the required position.
Note: If no settings are entered within
approx. two minutes, the positioner auto
-
matically returns to Code 0, but remains in
manual mode.
