S Pen Options
Configure S Pen settings, including options for gestures and sounds, and for tracking S Pen when it is not
stored in your phone.
■ To access S Pen Settings, tap Apps > Settings > S Pen .

Air View
Hover the S Pen over items on the screen to display more information:
● Information preview: Preview information, extend text, or enlarge pictures by hovering your pen
over the screens.
● Icon labels: View the labels of icons by hovering your pen over them.
● List scrolling: Scroll up or down lists by holding the pen over the top or bottom edge of the
screen.
● Link preview: Hover your pen over a link to preview the linked content.
● Air menu: Hover your pen over the action button to attach or insert content, attach contacts, or
add recipients to a message.
Note: The preview function is only available when the S Pen’s pointer is a solid color.
Configure Air View
Enable Air view features, and learn about using them.
■ From home, tap Apps > Settings > S Pen > Air view.
Air Command
Air command allows you to quickly activate frequently‑used applications or perform actions.
■ To launch the Air command menu, remove the S Pen from the S Pen slot, hold the S Pen near
the screen so that the pointer appears, and then press the S Pen button once.
