6.9.4 Event Action
Event Action coordinates consequent actions triggered by events.
Select Action
Event Action may be set to Relay1 through 4, Buzzer or E-Mail.
Action Duration
Action Duration determines the length of time the specified action will be maintained for Relays
and Buzzer. For E-Mail, this parameter determines the interval the e-mails will be sent.
Action Source
Action Source may be set to Sensor, Motion Detection or Text. This configuration may be
applied to all events.
- E-Mail Address
When an e-mail is sent by an event trigger, this is the address the message is mailed to. Input
the e-mail address of the person receiving the messages. The address format must be
xxx@xxx.xxx. Only alphanumerical characters are accepted.
- Sender Address
This address is only necessary the E-Mail option is used. The format must be xxx@xxx.xxx.
The address is not absolutely necessary; however, using different e-mail addresses for each
DVR may be useful for distinction purposes.
Timed Event Action
This option configures whether or not the action trigger is timed.
