Description of the Keys
e/[ON/OFF] key
On/off switch
Turns the display on and off. The
scale remains in the standby mode.
M key
Settings for configuring the scale
Access to the Setup menu
Stores settings and exits Setup
menu
You can select:
info
Display basic information
about the equipment
(e.g., model name, serial no.,
software version)
menu
Scale menu with plain English
prompts guide you while adap-
ting the scale to individual
requirements
input
For entering identifying informati-
on (e.g., ID number)
c key
Clear
This key is generally used to
interrupt/cancel functions:
Deletes keypad inputs and clears
the memory
Cancels calibration/adjustment
routines in progress
Returns application programs to
previous status
[ISOTEST]/[TEST] key
Calibration/adjustment
Press this key to select and start
calibration and adjustment functions
w/[TOGGLE] key
Toggle
Use this key to toggle the display
readout between a weight and
a calculated value (piece count,
readout in percent, calculated result)
v/[FUNCTION] key
Starts an application
The further procedure depends on
the application you have selected.
Refer to the particular application
you are running in the chapter
entitled “Operating the Scale.”
x y Y X Cursor keys
These keys enable you to move
around within the parameter
submenus for Info, Menu and Input in
the Setup menu.
t keys
Tare
Two large keys for initiating the tare
function. Ideally situated for both
left-handed and right-handed
operation. Sets the readout to zero.
With scales that have the
“PolyRange” weighing range
structure, the fine range is available
when you press either of these keys.
a key
Press this key to enter alphabetic
characters and/or special characters
(*, /, space, etc.).

Defines the decimal point position
p/[PRINT] key
Data output
Press this key to output data via
the built-in interface to a Sartorius
Data Printer or a computer.
