2.5 Media Types
Your printer supports various media types, including non-continuous media,
continuous media, and fanfold media. The following table provides details
about them. For optimal print performance and durability, please use SATO-
certified label and ribbon supplies on this printer.
Non-continuous media is the typical media for
bar code printing. Labels and tags are made of
various materials, such as paper, fabric or
cardstock and are separated by gaps, holes,
notches or black marks. Many labels are self-
adhesive with liners, while some are linerless.
