5.2. Extension
There are two ways to extend the radio system:
An additional Profinet Slave / Safety Node (SN) is con-
nected to an existing Radio Slave.
An additional Radio Slave is integrated into the radio
system.
5.2.1. Additional Profinet device / Safety Node (SN) to
existing or new Radio Slave
Profinet devices / Safety Nodes (SN) are detected automati-
cally by the system.
Check if the filter time must be adapted eventually
(see chapter 6.2).
5.2.2. Additional Radio Slave
The extension with additional Radio Slaves is carried out ac-
cording to the procedure shown below:
Install radio module on top-hat rail
Configure Radio Master and Radio Slave
