5.1 Safety Notices
WARNING
Risks associated with improper cleaning
Risk of fire, short circuit, and electric shock
Before cleaning, switch off the device at its rear main switch and discon-
nect from the mains power supply
Make sure no moisture penetrates the device
The device should not be reconnected to the mains power supply until it
has completely dried
NOTICE
Improper cleaning
Risk of damage to the device
Do not use sponges or wipes that are dripping wet
Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents
5.2 Performance
Cleaning the device
Proceed as follows:
Separate the device
from power
1. Switch OFF the device at the main switch on the rear and pull out the power
cord from the rear of the device to disconnect the power.
2. Clean the device.
Use slightly moistened
wipe only
Wipe the external surfaces with a soft wipe. Only slightly moisten the wipe
with a mild soap solution or isopropyl alcohol.
Stubborn stains can be removed with a mild, ammonia-based detergent.
Do not reconnect the device to the power until all the cleaned parts are com-
pletely dry.
3. Connect the device to the power supply and switch back on at the main
switch.
This concludes the cleaning process.
