4. Check whether the brake pads are worn, damaged or
loose. Brake pads must be replaced when remaining
thickness is 1 mm.
5. Check the surface and condition of the brake disc.
Use recommended brake cleaner to clean any grease.
Do not use spray lubricants or other petroleum-
based products. If any damage (crack, excessive
corrosion, warping) is found, please visit Segway
Powersports service before operation.
Brake fluid
Recommended brake fluid:
No adjustment is required for the hydraulic brake system.
Check the brake fluid level frequently. If the level is low,
add brake fluid. The brake fluid reservoir is located under
the front instrument cover.
1. Remove front maintenance panel and instrument
cover. See Pages 120 - 121 for removal.
2. Check the fluid level in the reservoir
