3. SAFETY STANDARDS
Should the machine be used for milling any
toxic and poisoning stuff, the machine itself
shall have to be outfitted with a suitably
designed suction and disposal system for the
produced exhaust gas.
Remember that prudence is a guarantee
against accidents.
a) Non authorised personnel must not come into the
range of action of the machine while it is working
(Fig. 4).
b) Do not open the protection guards when the machine
is in motion (Fig. 5). Do all that is necessary in order
to have always efficient safety guards. Make sure of
the good conditions of the safety labels and study the
meaning : they are necessary to avoid accidents, if
they are worn out they should be replaced with other
original ones requested to SEKO S.P.A placing them
in the exact position as indicated in (6.4“Sticker
plan”).
c) Before any maintenance or checking operation, stop
the electric motor from the control console (Fig. 6),
executing these operations:
1. press the button (8-Fig. 7);
2. move the lever (16-Fig. 7) of the general switch
in vertical position;

At the end of these operations the white light (2-Fig.
7) must be off; on the contrary case don’t operate on
the machine and contact SEKO’s assistance service.
d) Before any maintenance or checking operation under
mobile parts, make sure that the suitable mechanical
safety stops have been installed.
e) It is forbidden to introduce material to be mixed or
cut into the container from a position higher than the
side board (Fig. 8). Respect the height of 1.10 m.,
below the limit of the side board, which is the
minimum height of a normal parapet.
f) The machine may not be used for works different
from those foreseen or for which it was constructed.

absolutely be avoided (see cap 2.1 Description and
use of the machine.
