Many potential problems can be resolved by the owner without calling a
service technician. If something is wrong with this product, check the following
before calling your authorised dealer or service centre.
Troubleshooting chart
General
Symptom Possible cause
No sound is heard The input signal (selection) is not set properly.
The volume level is set to “0”.
Muting is activated.
The equipment used with this system is not
HDMI compliance.
The HDMI cable is not correctly connected.
Connect the HDMI cable correctly and then
perform the reset procedure. (refer page 26)
Do not connect or disconnect an HDMI cable
while power is on. This may lead to operation
problems.
Power turns off
suddenly.
The HDMI cable is not correctly connected.
Connect it correctly and then perform the reset
procedure. (refer page 26)
Noise is heard
during playback.
Move the sound bar away from any computers
or mobile phones.
When a button
is pressed, the
sound bar does not
respond.
Set the sound bar to the standby mode and
then turn it back on.
The power is not
turned on.
The sound bar is unplugged.
The protection circuit may be activated. Unplug
and plug in the power lead again after 5
minutes or more.
