No sound-1
No audio output from SP
Checklist
1) Is the volume set to MIN or MUTE on the remote control? • • • Set the desired volume.
2) Is the ANT-CABLE and the HDMI terminal disconnected or connected improperly? • • • Connect it correctly as per the operation manual.
3) In repair, an external input may be carried out and the standard signal of 1080P (60Hz) containing an audio signal may be checked.
(IF-UNIT)
Check whether each terminal of SP terminal (P6901) is struck by
bits of metal, and sound appears in Speaker.
(SP-TERMINAL) NO
Check whether R, L, and SW terminal of SP-terminal board, are
struck by bits of metal, and sound appears in Speaker.
YES Check whether there is bridge or short-circuited part in the sub-
strate of SP-terminal UNIT. Moreover, please check the loose
connection etc. of the SP harness.
(SP-BOX) NO
Check whether the RCA input pin of SP-BOX is struck by bits of
metal, and sound appears in Speaker.
YES Check the loose connection between R/ L/ SW terminal of SP-
terminal, and the RCA input pin of SP-BOX etc.
NO
