Smart lock
From the Security screen, tap Smart Lock to set Smart Lock. Note that you
must have enabled a screen lock before using the Smart lock.
• On-body detection: keep your phone unlocked when it is on you. Use
the toggle switch
to enable or disable it.
• Trusted places: set a trusted place in Google Maps. Tap + Add trusted
place to start.
• Trusted device: set a trusted device that is connected to your phone.
When you unlock your phone, it stays unlocked when it is connected to
the trusted device, like a paired Bluetooth wearable or car system. Tap +
Add trusted device to start.
Device admin apps
From the Security screen, tap Device admin apps to view and activate the
device admin app(s). Once activated, the admin app can erase data, change
the screen lock, lock the screen or disable some screen lock features for
your phone. Use the toggle switch
to enable or disable it.
