If there is any accessible Wi-Fi hotspot or AP (access point) around where
you are using the phone, connect to the Wi-Fi for secure and reliable network
and enter the password if required.
It is strongly suggested that you perform the following actions to check if you
have connected to a Wi-Fi network.
1. Swipe down twice to open Quick Setting Panel, and see if the Wi-Fi icon
is enabled, or go to Settings --> Network & internet --> Wi-Fi to see if
the toggle switch
of Use Wi-Fi is turned on. You may also tap the
setting icon
next to the Wi-Fi network you have connected to view
further details including signal strength, frequency and security.
2. Then, open a browser and visit a website.
3. Send a message or call a contact through an instant messaging app.
