PRESSURE BAR DRIVE MOTOR (con’t)
3. If there is no continuity at the stepper drive, the
quick disconnect cable may be faulty. Follow
these steps to check the motor at the plug.
a. Unplug the quick disconnect located
near the motor.
b. Using a DVOM, check the continuity on
the motor end of the plug. First, check
between pins 1 and 3, 1 and 6, and 3
and 6. Then check for continuity
between 2 and 4, 2 and 5, and 4 and 5
(see figure 3-281 for pin locations). If
all six checks pass, the motor is not
faulty, and there is a problem with the
motor cable. Check the cable and
connections to make sure the wires are
not broken or pinched, and check pins
to ensure they are still connected.
The film feed drive motor is adjustment free.
1. Remove the motor covers and the load
plate (see Figures 3-282,283 and 284).
