(Long
Play)
recording
speed
with
TAPE
SPEED
on
the
remote
control
(“SP”,
“EP”
or
“LP"
will
light
up
on
the
VCR
display).
SP
(Standard
Play)
gives
the
best
picture
quality,
EP
(Extended
Play)
gives
the
triple
recording
time
and
LP
(Long
Play)
gives
the
double
recording
time.

NOTE
>
If
the
COLOUR
mode
is
set
to
“AUTO”,
when
a
SECAM
signal
is
received
and
the
EP
mode
is
selected,
the
VCR
will
automatically
change
the
EP
mode
to
LP
mode.
VC-H705X
is
not
equipped
with
the
NTSC
tuner.
If
you
want
to
record
the
NTSC
signal
with
this
VCR,
connect
this
VCR
to
the
other
equipment
with
the
NTSC
tuner.

disengages

an
external

through

rear

the
VCR,
press
INPUT
SELECT
on
the
remote
control
or
press
CHANNEL
A/T
(CH

to
select
the
LI
or
L2
channel
position
situated
between
the
last
channel
and
first
channel.
(When
the
LI
or
L2
position
is
selected,
"LI"
or
“L2”
is
displayed
where
a
channel
position
number
is
usually
displayed.)

TV
signals

weak
and
the
picture
changes
to
monochrome,
set
the
PAL
mode
on
the
MODE
selection
screen.

colour
mode
should
be
set
to
“AUTO”.

After

select
the
programme
you
wish
to
view
using
the
TV
tuner.
At
the
end
of
the
tape,
your
VCR
will
automatically
stop
recording,
rewind
to
the
beginning
of
the
tape,
eject
the
tape
and
turn
off
the
power.
