Check this fist before calling for service.
Problem
MISCELLANEOUS PROBLEMS
• No power.
Cannot turn on the VCR.
• Cassette cannot be ejected.
•The VCR display does not operate
properly.
•No operation when any button is
pressed.
• VCR does not record.
• Cassette is automatically ejected when
pressing REC or TIMER ON/OFF
• No tape movement.
► Cassette cannot be loaded.
• Picture does not change even thouqh
CHANNEL A / ▼ (CH a/T) are
pressed.
•Desired channel position cannot be
selected.
NO COLOUR OR POOR PICTURE
• No colour or poor TV picture on normal
viewing.
• Snowy picture appears on TV during
playback.
•No picture appears or colour is not
correct during playback.
REMOTE CONTROL PROBLEM
• The VCR cannot be operated by the
remote control.

• Make sure the power cord is plugged in.
* Check the outlet, fuse or circuit breaker.
» Press TIMER ON/OFF and disengage the timer.
• Make sure that the Child-Proof Lock is not engaged.
• Safety device in VCR is functioning.
