Immerse the inlet check valve (A) and outlet check valve (B) into 2-propanol, and
clean for 5 minutes using an ultrasonic bath.

Rotate the inlet check valve (A) and
the outlet check valve (B) clockwise to
attach them to the pump head, and
after tightening by hand, use a 10 mm
wrench to tighten them as follows.

Inlet check valve
• LC-40D X3 CL:
Hand tightening and 120° with
wrench
• LC-40D XR CL:
Hand tightening and 90° with
wrench
•
Outlet check valve
•
LC-40D X3 CL:
Hand tightening and 60 to 90° with wrench
•
LC-40D XR CL:
Hand tightening and 90° with wrench

Attach the SUS pipe and inlet tube by following the instructions in "Installing
the pump head" P.89.
