Approach
1.
Unscrew the fixing screws on the cover and remove the cover from the explosion-
proof enclosure.
2. Secure the risers and the FlexFix brackets in the explosion-proof enclosure using
the supplied M5 screws.
3. Tighten the fixing screws of the FlexFix brackets using a torque of 5 to 6 Nm. A
higher torque may damage the brackets, a lower torque does not offer sufficient
protection against vibrations.
4. Mount the safety light curtain on the FlexFix brackets so that the connecting cable
is at the same end of the explosion-proof enclosure as the 3/4" NPT opening. Do
not tighten the fixing screws at this point.
