You can use the teach function “Q

” to teach in the target and reference
background for the “Object between sensor and background” (“ObSB (Back‐
ground)”) switching mode. In this case, a signal is output if the sensor no
longer sees this taught-in background. Thus the output acts as High Active
(see figure 14, page 32).

background” (“ObSB (Background)”) switching mode. In this case, a signal
is output as long as the sensor detects the taught-in background. Thus the
