5 COMMISSIONING
Changing the measuring mode
Depending on the measurement type of the pressure transmitter, it is necessary to switch
between gauge pressure measurement and absolute pressure measurement in the Flow-X
flow computer.
1 Go to menu item “Configuration/Run/Pressure”.
2 Change the value for “Meter pressure input units” to “absolute” or “gauge”, depending
on the transmitter configuration.
3 If anything is unclear, check the transmitter configuration.
Note: The reference value of the ambient pressure is 1.01325 bar (a).

5.4.3 Temperature transmitter
Checking the communication status
1 Go to menu item “Communication/Temperature Transmitter/Temperature
Communication”.
2 Check the “Communication status”.
When the “Communication Status” is set to “OK”, the correct device ID is already set in
the flow computer.
Changing the device ID
1 Go to menu item “Communication/Temperature Transmitter/Temperature Communica-
tion”.
2 Change the “HART slave ID” to the device ID set in the device.
3 Check the communication status again.
4 Go to menu item “Live Values/Run”.
5 Check that the Flow-X flow computer receives data from the temperature transmitter
under “Meter temperature”.
