When utilized acc. to M

(100 K) a series braking resistor must be used in order to prevent
partial de-magnetization. When utilized according to M
0
(60 K), the additional braking resistor
is not required.

In order to prevent that the motors are de-magnetized, when short-circuit braking from the
rated speed, the above specified supplementary resistors must be connected in series.
