Notice
The configuration of fault−tolerant connections when using this CP is prevented
only as of STEP 7 version V5.3 service pack 1. If you are still using STEP 7
version V5.3, please avoid configuring fault−tolerant connections in conjunction
with this CP.
9.3 Replacing Older Modules
The CP 443−1 Advanced described here allows communication both using the ISO
transport protocol as well as the TCP/IP protocol. It also includes the full IT
functionality of the CP 443−1 IT. It is fully compatible with and, taking into account
the restrictions described above (adapted configuration data), can be used to
replace the following previous modules:
S CP 443−1 ISO with order number 6GK7 443−1BX00−0XE0
S CP 443−1 ISO with order number 6GK7 443−1BX01−0XE0
S CP 443−1 TCP with order number 6GK7 443−1EX00−0XE0
