WAP settings
Enter the Administration menu. Access page 17.
Select "Configuration".
Select "System settings".
Select "WAP settings".
This menu provides the following options:
• Connection type
• WAP gateway/proxy page 34
• Home page page 35
Connection type
This screen allows the administrator to define whether
the Web Access Application will connect via a Proxy
Server or via a WAP gateway
Select "Connection type".
Click softkey to select the Connection type.
The following options are provided:
• HTTP (with Proxy Server)
• WSP (with WAP Gateway)
Click softkey.
WAP gateway/proxy
This form allows the administrator to define information
required by the WAP browser application to access a re-
mote WAP gateway or proxy server.
Select "WAP gateway/proxy".
Enter IP address or host name and Port number
(Text input see page 41).
o Enter a port number in the range 0 to 65535.
If no value is specified, the default port number of 9200
is assumed
Click softkey.
