Enter old password (Text input see page 41).
Enter new password.
Input is echoed with asterisks. The minimum password
length is 6 characters and the maximum password
length is 24 characters. The password may only contain
characters that are present on the phone keypad: "0" to
"9", "*" and "#".
Confirm new password.
Click softkey.
Restart Phone
If the HiPath optiPoint 600 office gets into a state
where it is unusable it can be restarted.
Enter the Administration menu. Access page 17.
Select "Housekeeping".
Select "Restart phone".
Click softkey.
A normal user has to disconnect the power to restart
the phone.
Restore phone data
Enter the Administration menu. Access page 17.
Select "Housekeeping".
Select "Restore phone data".
Choose between
• Clear ALL user data
• Restore factory settings
Clear ALL user data
This option clears out all personal data relating to the
user (including Personal Directory entries and structure
definition and any Personal Password), ready for the
phone to be given to a different user. It does not clear
out Phone settings (such as contrast or touch screen
calibration settings), nor Administration settings (such
as network details).
