Measuring preheating
• Switch off the system
• Remove the top cover and, in the case of MOBILETT XP Digital, place it on its side on a
table or similar surface (do not disconnect any cable connections).
• Oscilloscope channel 1 at D916 TP “I” (7) and D916.GND (1) - resonant filament cur-
rent
Oscilloscope setting: trigger channel 1, trigger stage 1 V, 2 V/div, sweep 100 µs/div
• Select 81 kV and 5 mAs on the control panel In the case of XP Digital, switch to the
manual operating mode
• Use exposure switch S27 to press and hold "PREP"
¹ Below is the oscillogram of the resonant filament current during preheating

formation on setting the filament current on the D916.
