The NW8204 diagnostic tool
Browse for a local copy of DIAGNO.LOG or EEPROM.LOG to
analyse/troubleshoot a remote NK82xx (admin user only).

Transferred Bytes, Percent, and Byte/Sec rate.
Note: If you do not close the connection, you will automatically be timed out in five
minutes.
9.3.2 File commands
These commands are meant for remote technical maintenance and diagnostic of
the NK8000 units. The commands apply to the file selection active in the list on the
left of the screen.
Download file
Transfer the selected file to the NK8000.
Do not use the NW8204 for downloading firmware or configuration files to the
NK8000 units! If the files to download are corrupted, the error is not notified and
the NK8000 unit will stop working.
Upload file
Transfer the selected file from the NK8000 (to upload diagnostic files see
Uploading diagnostic files [➙ 68]).
Delete/rename file
Delete or rename the selected file in the NK8000.
Refresh
Update the file list.
Properties
Display the detailed properties of the selected file.
Download Reset NK
Download a file that forces the NK8000 to perform a software reset.
Edit Configuration File
Edit/View the INI file containing the NK8000 configuration.
Edit Diagno.log
Edit/View the diagnostic file (see Uploading diagnostic files [➙ 68]).
Edit EEprom.log Event.log
Edit/View the diagnostic file (see Uploading diagnostic files [➙ 68]).
FTP mode
Set the FTP connection mode to Active (default) or Passive (needed if a firewall is
active on the PC).
